A quick and easy dish: perfect for surprising friends with simplicity, thanks to its strong flavor and tantalizing aroma. Guided by the March shopping we buy a black cabbage or black broccoli: often forgotten on the supermarket shelves, this vegetable with dark green leaves is instead present in many traditional recipes, such as the Tuscan ribollita.

Its tender sprouts are excellent to cook sautéed with oil, garlic and chilli like turnip greens. The black cabbage is an important ally of the daily diet thanks to vitamin A and C, potassium and folic acid. In addition, its dark green leaves constitute a reserve of magnesium, an element that according to the latest research would help avoid states of anxiety by promoting tranquility. After all, how not to start the summer with a surplus of physical and mental well-being?

Here she is recipe of strozzapreti with black cabbage and bacon

Ingredients:
400 grams of strozzapreti
1 bunch of black cabbage
a slice of bacon
grated Parmesan
garlic, oil, salt, chilli to taste

Wash the black cabbage and cut it into strips: if the ribs are too hard, you can remove them by removing them from the central segment.
Prepare a sauté with a clove of garlic and a drizzle of oil and add the bacon, cut into cubes or strips according to your preference. When the bacon is golden, add the black cabbage and let it dry over low heat.

In the meantime, boil and add salt to the water, add the pasta and once the strozzapreti are drained, sauté them together with the previously prepared ingredients. Don't forget to sprinkle everything with a dose of chilli and grated Parmesan cheese. The light advice? To avoid sautéing, you can sauté the bacon into strips (for a few seconds) and add the black cabbage, letting it cook with a few tablespoons of cooking water: once wilted, you can add half a clove of minced garlic, chilli and a drizzle. of raw oil. Enjoy your meal!
